5 Secrets of Spiritual Transformation

Our real Potential is in our Transformation. It is for this Transformation that Christ Jesus died for us on the Cross of Calvary.

The Holy Spirit is the Agent who is willing to help us in being Transformed when we invite Him into our lives by accepting Jesus Christ and yielding to Him.

John 11:43 ....Jesus cried with a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"

Christianity is all about Transformation within. The power of this Gospel is that it changes a man from within to a “New Creation”. There are numerous Faiths in the World all advocating some kind of change in a person if they follow the statues thereof. But what is experienced is a marginal victory, Sin still thrived within that person.

People have separated themselves from others to a life of austerity, buried themselves in earth till neck deep, suffered in their flesh by severe penances, took to drugs too as a life to embodiment the divine. But yet, they lacked the eternal peace within. Even after all they have said and done, they longed for something more that will set them free. This is where God in Jesus Christ makes a difference. Our Faith in Jesus brings us a Realization of our divinity with the Almighty, our relationship with Him, His Love and concern for us, His help extended by the guidance offered through the Holy Spirit to COME OUT OF DEADNESS and live a better life in a Transformed Image that suits the person of Jesus Christ.

Christian Transformation begins with the following:

1. BE TRANSFORMED FROM BEING A PART OF A FALLEN WORLD.

Revelations 18:4 I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of Babylon, my people, so that you do not participate in her sins and suffer from any of her plagues.

Satan is ruling upon the Economies of the World leading them to a corrupt way of Business and Corporate life, ruthless in competition and heartless in its ethos, power hungry at whatever cost with a lust for fame. God desires His people to come out of this world economic system and become a part of the economy of His Kingdom which is based on Faith, Righteousness, Justice and Mercy. He wants us to live a way of life that pleases Him and fulfills His eternal purpose.

When we believe Him, God gives us the ability in His Grace to be COME OUT of the Babylonian System of rule prevalent in the World and He calls us and empowers us to serve Him in total Faith and Dependence upon Him.

Pray and desire earnestly that God will help you, sustain you and lead you to reign in the economy of the Kingdom of God which is a life of faith and dependence upon God.

2. BE TRANSFORMED FROM THE WORKS OF DARKNESS

Ephesians 5:14 Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light."

The Book of Ephesians Chapter 5 talks about Spiritual Light and Darkness. It defines Darkness as uncleanness, covetousness, fornication, filthiness, foolish talks and the likes.

Transformation is also about a life that is well lived in the will of God, in Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit of God that eventually qualifies us to a life eternal after death. This transformation comes to us as a natural outcome of our Faith in Christ. Once we are accepted in Christ, our empowerment over darkness comes from the Holy Spirit who is sent to aid us and deliver us from the works of darkness.

3. BE TRANSFORMED FROM VANITY

Ecclesiastes 4: And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person's envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

In the Book of Ecclesiastes, King Solomon talks about the vanity of life. Most of all activities we do while working and laboring are meaningless. In the sense that we do to compete with others, to prove ourselves before others that we are above them in riches or in the pride of our life and so on.

When we receive Christ, He shows us by the enlightening of the Holy Spirit about the vanity of earthly life and opens our Spiritual Eyes to see the Everlasting Purpose and Plan of God. When we are transformed, our work here on earth will have an eternal meaning and purpose. It will be for service of mankind and of good works that glorify God.

4. BE TRANSFORMED FROM SPIRITUAL IGNORANCE

Ephesians 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

God wants His Bride (the Church, Body of Believers) to be prepared for the rapture. He is waiting to receive her in the Heavens. Transformation in Christ is tremendous power that breaks yokes of bondages and human limitations. It is explosive in nature and the one who walks in it will never remain unnoticed.

Transformation within makes us effective witnesses in a perishing World. Our Faith in Christ is not just an empty Philosophy or a Tradition or a Religious dictum but our Faith is “Dunamis” (Powerful, Forceful and Mighty). The cross of Jesus is a lifestyle that empowers us and makes us a powerful force before the Demons and makes us stand strong in the face of Trials and Tribulations in the World.

5. BE TRANSFORMED TO A LIFE OF PRAYER

Mathew 26:40 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, "What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."

A Transformed life under the influence of the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ leads us to Prayer.

Peter, James and John even after a lot of explanation about hard times that are going to come upon them never bothered to pray even an hour when Jesus demanded them before they were Transformed on the day of Pentecost.

Today, it's the same with many. They are ok to conduct programs, music concerts, functions, Christian parties and so on but talk about Prayer, everyone is laid back. Some don’t even make an attempt. They are thousands who haven’t prayed a line in their lifetime but they attend church. It is so with such people because they haven't sincerely surrendered their life to God in Faith.

Whereas, when we receive Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit lives in us and intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. He gives us the burden to Pray, the yearning to talk to God and a burden to Intercede for a perishing world. Our lives are transformed and prayer becomes a vital part of our daily life.
